About Piece:
In Hamlett Dobbins's Drawing II class on January 15th, at University of Memphis, in the Art Department, my class was given different subjects/ideas - "drawing at random." This whole theme was based on scientific, "unique" questions.
I was given the question/slip of paper: "What is God's particle?" Without writing down words, we had to come up with ideas to create (with any media) and be able to convey the given "theme." It took me a while - almost all night - to choose and finish the one idea. I referenced from 2 pictures of a Greek God sculpture and the formation/depiction of the Higgs Boson particle.
On January 17th, Critique Day, the audience/classmates would have to guess what question each artist was given, just by viewing the piece.
