Founder Writing "Boodega" by Cheryiah Hill.
Short description: Our founder, Timothy Hayes, made The Boodega a grocery store that caters to monsters of all ages and species. For centuries, monsters would usually feed on humans whether that was their blood, brains, innards, etc. However, The Boodega is a place where monsters can get quality human and non-human based food products in an ethical way. All of our products are made to satisfy every monster’s needs, so they will not overindulge on the entire human race. People often ask us how we get our products ethically and the answer is very simple. We often receive our products from partnerships with many health organizations. We also host many events that give people an opportunity to give back to their fellow monster community such as our annual blood drive. The Boodega takes a special interest in hosting many events throughout the year that bring monsters and humans together because we believe we can bridge the gap between our two species. Come visit us at The Boodega today at our main store in Blair Atholl, Scotland. Also visit our other stores in Transylvania, Romania, and New York City, New York. Contact us (666) 530-2728. Thank you and see you soon.
Founder Story:
Timothy Hayes is a retired monster hunter. Back in his glory days, he was the most renowned monster hunter in history. There were entire species of monsters that quaked at the sound of his name. Hayes always knew he was good at what he did, but he was also haunted by the task of his job. He knew monsters killed people and that was bad, however, they just ate because they were starving. Monsters needed to eat just like any other living organism, but too bad they had the taste for the human race. Humans were also terrified by the looks of some monsters even if they were harmless. No monster was safe from the fear and panic of humans. Hayes slayed monsters for 10 years before he finally found the solution to the problem that always haunted him. Hayes took an early retirement to pursue monster reform.
Monster reform was on the rise when he first started his monster hunting career, but he never saw any real change from the organizations involved, so that’s when Hayes got involved. Several humans hate the idea of monsters and humans living together peacefully, but there are many activists trying to change the narrative. Hayes started changing the narrative when he came up with, Boodega, a grocery store that caters to the monsters of the night. Our grocery store has everything that monsters need to satisfy their hunger and all of our resources are ethically sourced as well. Some of our items include blood, brains, souls, and pizza (yes, some monsters like pizza). We also implemented community programs, so monsters and humans can interact in the safest way possible while also having fun together. This is not only a place for monsters to get their food, but this is a safe space for monsters to shop and hang out together in peace. We are a place of reform where we do not turn away any monster no matter how bad their background is. You will never be turned away by us. Come on down to Boodega, Charge the Soul.
